True meaning of teamwork
It’s amazing how tragic situations can always turn into a group of people coming together and exercising the true meaning of “teamwork.”
On July 19, a small town high school in Montana suffered a tremendous loss when four students were killed when their vehicle crashed, rolled and burst into flames.
All four boys ages 14-18 were killed.
Investigators and police could not figure out why the truck crashed, because no speeding or dangerous driving was involved.
The quartet represented 10-percent of the school’s athletic program.
A service was held at the school’s football field, and the stands overflowed with loved ones as well as rival schools and classmates.
Sports are often based on rivalries and the competition, but whenever tragedy strikes, teamwork becomes more important.
Whether it’s the members of the team or other athletes around the area, humanity and unity take priority over anything else during the tough times.
